The site can be navigated using either the arrows at the bottom of each page, or else by using the Flash menu on the left-hand side of each page. In some instances (e.g. Military History: First World War: Battlefront 1915-16), the Flash menu will be further subdivided into another level of menus. These pages have a supplementary menu in the top right-hand corner.
To view large-scale versions of images, click on thumbnails. To view text, graphs, and other media, click on the icon.
