During the 1950s and 1960s, Canada became recognized around the world for its contribution to various peacekeeping initiatives. Cyprus was the proving ground.

Since 1867, tens of thousands of Canadian soldiers and their families have sacrificed so that our nation and its people could remain free. There, they will find a chronicle of the enormous sacrifices that Canadian soldiers made in the First World War, the Second World War, and the Korean War.
